I can't believe that I was happy to have Monday come, and now I am soooo glad tha even today is over. Weekend like this last one is why I really have to shake my head and wonder how people who seemed to previously to be level headed can become so goose-stepping right-winged fascist so called christians. Then treat their family like they are the most vile things on earth. I was victim to such behavior this past week end. How can some one who "claims" to be a christian ( the very definition is to be "Christ" like) break Christ's own GOLDEN RULE, to treat others as you would want them to treat you, is beyond me. I guess they want me to treat them they way they treated me this past weekend. First they ask for my help with the party invites, which I gladly do, without expecting or wanting anything in return, because to me that is what family does, then they ask to borrow our large cooler for the party, then they send me and invite, so I go, and what happens? Well first this "good" christian lady, greets each on her guests as the come through the serving line, until my daughter, son, and I get to her, where she instantly turns her back to us, for no reason what so ever, there was nothing there for her to see, or retrieve, just a wall, once we pass by she continues to greet everyone else in the line. Then the "good" christian gentleman, kindly goes around to each table talking to each guest, even greets the man sitting across from me, and totally ignores me, when I speak to him, he rudely gives me a nasty remark and continues to the next table. I felt so humiliated, and so bad for my 15 year old daughter ( my son is old enough to have endured these types of people on his own as he is 26) to have to endure these so called "good christians" from a good neighborhood, we left. And to think that if it wasn't for me these two "good christians" would have never met, and they would have never had this so called "good christian" family of theirs. Well to make a long story short if they were following the golden rule, then I intend to treat them the same way they treated me and my children this past weekend. They no longer will be welcome at my home, as they did not make us feel welcome at theirs when they invited us there. I will no longer do favors for them, no longer will I do any art work, and printing, do their sons taxes, allow them to borrow anything, as they do not exist to me as long as they feel they have the right by God to treat me this way, just because they are goose-stepping right-winged fascist baptists. Never in my life have I ever felt so unwelcome at a relatives house, and to think it's my own brother.

Family - all I can say is Pete's family has never treated me as poorly as my own family. I actually prefer to spend time in NJ with his family then to spend time with my own, how sad.

Okay so that is enough of my rant tonight.
